A wine that deftly balances vitality and restraint, our 2021 Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay opens with juicy honeysuckle, sweet melon and ripe pineapple notes that gain tension on the bright palate where zesty hints of white nectarine and lemongrass emerge. Subtle sweet vanilla and citrus notes highlight the long, elegant finish.

The vineyard is among the most exciting I’ve worked with and our inaugural 2021 Jasper Freestone Pinot Noir is my most personal interpretation of the site. The wine’s depth and complexity is immediately apparent by its captivating aromatics that unfurl in waves of Bing cherry, boysenberry, raspberry, and pomegranate nuanced by hints of floral, clove, and sweet pipe tobacco. The palate is supple and generous with a weightiness that belies the vineyard’s youth, offering a core of lush fruit, buoyed by bright acidity that persists through the very long, spice-tinged finish.

A complete wine and lovely example of varietal, our 2017 El Diablo Vineyard Grenache exhibits an inky depth of flavor, lush mouthfeel and elegant tannic structure. The generous core of dark berry and black currant is accented by spicy notes of dried sage, black pepper, cinnamon and clove. An intriguing loamy-minerality emerges on the palate and lingers throughout the long, seamlessly integrated finish. Devilishly good.
